The run of bad luck for defender Philipp Degen has continued with the news he will be out for five weeks with a metatarsal injury.
The Swiss defender has been plagued by problems since arriving at the club and, although there is no break in the metatarsal injury picked up against Manchester United reserves last week, it will be at least a month before he returns to first team contention.
Degan has had a knee injury which ruined his first season at the club and this is just the latest blow in a campaign which he will be keen to forget.
