Liverpool striker Andriy Voronin could be set for a move back to Germany to join Eintracht Frankfurt in January.
The Ukraine international enjoyed a successful spell in the Bundesliga last term, scoring 11 goals for Hertha Berlin while on loan from the Reds.
They wanted to make the deal permanent in the summer but a move was not agreed and the pony-tailed frontman returned to Anfield where he has featured sporadically for Rafa Benitez's side in an injury-hit campaign so far.
Voronin, who was signed on a free transfer in July 2007, has now been targeted by Frankfurt and a bid is set to be tabled in the new year.
Benitez would be willing to offload the 30-year-old who has failed to hit the back of the net this season - provided he can find a replacement in January.
