Italian virus woe

Liverpool are almost certain to be without Alberto Aquilani for tonight's clash with Lille after he picked up a virus.
The Italian had just begun to find his feet in recent matches so his absence will be a bitter blow for both player and club and the hope is that he will be fit for the clash against Manchester United on Sunday.
Yossi Benayoun, Lucas Leiva and Dirk Kuyt are all vying for a first-team recall but Maxi Rodriguez is ineligible so will not play as the Reds look to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg.
