Defender Glen Johnson claims the players must concentrate on their league form and forget all about the FA Cup final with Chelsea.
Having already won the Carling Cup back in February Kenny Dalglish's men have a chance to pick up a domestic cup double for a second time when they clash with the Blues at Wembley next month. But Johnson, who made a surprise return to the side against Everton after injury, says they need to concentrate on their league position before they think about more silverware. "We'll take each game as it comes. The preparations will be the same as usual," the England international said. "We've got a game on Sunday against West Brom so we've got to enjoy the win and then we'll look forward to that game before the final. "We need to take every game as it comes and we've got a few more games before then."But it (the final) is going to be there in the back of people's minds. Hopefully we can pick up another trophy. "The lads got a buzz for winning stuff a few months back in the Carling Cup and luckily we're in another final."
