Malaga keen on Reds stopper
Liverpool, 14:23, June 25, 2009 ,
Liverpool are looking to offload reserve keeper Charles Itandje this summer and the Frenchman has caught the eye of Malaga.
The 26-year-old has no future at Anfield after being disciplined by the club for showing a perceived lack of respect during the memorial service to mark the 10-year anniversary of Hillsborough in April.
Diego Cavalieri has firmly established himself as the back up to number one Pepe Reina at Anfield and Reds boss Rafa Benitez is keen to get rid of Itandje, who has only played a handful of Cup games during his two seasons at the club.
Malaga are desperate to find cover for veteran shot-stopper Francesco Arnau and have identified the Liverpool keeper as a possible signing.
