Real rejects Reds move

Liverpool have had a bid for Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Granero turned down, according to reports coming out of Spain.

The 25-year-old is still wanted at the Spanish champions and they intend to fight of interest on the player for a second summer running, last year it was Arsenal who had an offer knocked back for the player.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is looking to add his own mark on his side and, after missing out on Gylfi Sigurdsson to Tottenham, a new midfielder appears to be high on his wanted list.
