Reds eye crucial appointment
Liverpool have stepped up their attempts to find a replacement for Rick Parry, with a new chief executive likely to be named in June.
Parry announced towards the end of the season that he would be stepping down this summer and the Reds will be keen to appoint a successor as soon as possible, in order to aid Rafa Benitez's attempts to add to the squad.
Recruitment specialists Odgers Berndtson have been appointed to head hunt Parry's replacement and the job advert says the owners are looking for someone with 'outstanding leadership'.
The advertisement also says the new man has to help the club 'through its next phase of development', ensuring the Reds 'perform exceptionally both on and off the field'.
