Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard is expected to return to the side for the clash with Norwich on Saturday but Charlie Adam is out.
Gerrard was left out of the side which lost to West Brom last weekend but he should return for the clash at Carrow Road.
Adam is out with a knee injury which will see him miss the rest of the campaign, including the FA Cup, and Kenny Dalglish also does not expect him to be fit for the Great Britain Olympic team this summer.
"There is no operation needed but he won't play this season," said Dalglish.
"And I would think if they had any designs on having him in the Olympics he wouldn't be fit for that either."
Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll were the front two against the Baggies but after failing to find the back of the net in a game the Reds dominated they could be replaced by either Dirk Kuyt or Craig Bellamy who are pushing for starts.
