Reds star in fitness battle

Liverpool keeper Jose Reina faces a late fitness test while Jonjo Shelvey is available to face Reading after a three-match ban.

The Spaniard will undergo a test on a minor hamstring problem which he sustained on international duty before his country's clash with France in midweek.
Brad Jones is on standby to make his first Premier League start for the club if Reina does not make it.
Striker Fabio Borini has been ruled out for up to three months with a fractured foot but defenders Jose Enrique and Jon Flanagan returned to training this week.
Shelvey will compete for Nuri Sahin's place in a five-man midfield with Luis Suarez likely to be the only recognised striker in the line-up, although Samed Yesil and Adam Morgan could be involved as cover.
