Reds stopper looks to Gunners task

Liverpool, 10:45, December 15, 2008

Sami Hyypia is confident Liverpool can still win the Premier League despite their third draw in the last four games against Hull City.

The Finnish central defender has admitted their inability to secure maximum points on home soil is a concern after draws against West Ham, Fulham and the Tigers. However, as Rafa Benitez's men still sit top of the Premier League by one point ahead of Chelsea, Hyypia insists they are remaining positive ahead of Sunday's tough trip to face Arsenal.

"We're top of the table and should enjoy it and be confident of doing our jobs," he said.

"It will be a tough game against Arsenal but we'll go to win and hopefully come out with three points.

"We're only in December but it's very close and there's a long way to go.

"It's disappointing we didn't finish the job (against Hull). We tried to do everything we could but it didn't work.

"Of course things could be better, we could have more points than we do, but we just have to live with that.

"It's disappointing to draw at home again but we need to look forward.

"If we knew what it was we'd address it and wouldn't have had three draws.

"I didn't feel personally that there was extra pressure on us or anything."
