Rodgers wants domestic focus
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has insisted his primary focus is on challenging for the Premier League title this season.
The Reds are currently preparing for their Europa League qualifier with Belarusian outfit FC Gomel in the first leg of the third-round encounter on Thursday night. Having come through a disappointing campaign in the Premier League last term under Kenny Dalglish with an eighth-placed finish, getting back to near the top of the table has become a priority for the Merseyside club, who you can back using your free bet. Rodgers is looking forward to taking part in the Europa League but has admitted the Premier League title is currently at the top of his wish-list ahead of the upcoming season. He told the club's official website: "I don't want to disrespect the Europa League, but there's no doubt the league is our priority and we want to finish as high as we possibly can. "The Europa League is a competition we'd like to do well in. Obviously to do well in it you've got to play a lot of games and hopefully that will be the case."
