Rodgers wants domestic focus

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has insisted his primary focus is on challenging for the Premier League title this season.

The Reds are currently preparing for their Europa League qualifier with Belarusian outfit FC Gomel in the first leg of the third-round encounter on Thursday night. "The Europa League is a competition we'd like to do well in. Obviously to do well in it you've got to play a lot of games and hopefully that will be the case."
