Shawcross seals Potters stay

Reds target Ryan Shawcross has signed a new deal which will keep him at the Britannia Stadium Stoke until 2014.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a move back to Manchester United, where he started his career as a youth player, as well as Spurs, Everton and Liverpool.

However, Shawcross has now committed himself to Stoke after signing a new four-and-a-half-year deal.
