Skipper blow for Reds

Liverpool, 10:14, October 30, 2009 ,

Liverpool look likely to be without skipper Steven Gerrard for the trip to Fulham as he struggles with his groin injury.

Gerrard has yet to shake off the injury which has plagued him all season but was aggravated playing for England against the Ukraine.
Summer signing Alberto Aquilani, the £20m capture from Roma, who was highly impressive in the ten minutes that he played at the end of the Carling Cup game will probably make it to the bench and will hopefully get another run out as he approaches full fitness.
Fernando Torres and Glen Johnson will also return having been rested in midweek for the clash with Arsenal.
