Spanish duo join Reds

The Spanish connection at Liverpool has increased with Rafa Benitez adding Eduardo Parra Garcia and Ivan Ortega to his backroom team.

Garcia will work as a fitness coach, concentrating specifically on rehabilitation work, while Ortega joins the medical team as a sports therapist.

The two men, both moving from Celta Vigo, arrive after a host of departures from the backroom in recent weeks, culminating in reserve team boss Gary Ablett and several academy coaches leaving the club.
