Liverpool striker Andy Carroll is set for a loan move to Premier League rivals West Ham.

Carroll's future has been in question since Brendan Rodgers was appointed Liverpool boss but it had appeared as if any possibility of a loan exit had been ruled out by the Anfied side.
However, Liverpool have agreed to loan the striker to West Ham to free up funds for their own targets, including Fulham's Clint Dempsey and Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge, and Carroll has now travelled to east London to undergo a medical, with the deal set to be completed before the transfer window closes on Friday.
It has been reported that West Ham are prepared to pay all of Carroll's wages and that there is no agreement in place for a permanent transfer at the end of the season-long loan deal.
