Liverpool front man Dirk Kuyt has called on the side to finish the season on a high and win their remaining games.

The Dutch ace, who has been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer, wants the Reds to win their remaining five games in the Premier League and finish higher up the table than rivals Everton. Liverpool still need a further 12 points to ensure they equal last season's points total and they start that quest against West Brom on Sunday when Roy Hodgson returns to Anfield. "We want to win every game that we have left in the league," Kuyt told the official LFC magazine. "That's still really important for us. We want to finish as well as we possibly can and if we can do that, we can take the momentum into next season. "Sometimes we've been really close to winning games and we have felt that we've deserved to win them. But you can't feel sorry for yourselves. At the end of the day you have to look forward and I think the way we played against Blackburn showed that we weren't feeling sorry for ourselves. "We can't look back. We want to change things and we will be doing our best to try and do that. We will be more satisfied if we can win as many of our remaining games as possible and have a strong run-in and a strong finish. "That is our target. We are playing for Liverpool Football Club and when you are doing that you have to win every game."
