Bolton earns Macc deal

Macclesfield have handed a professional contract to young defender James Bolton.

The centre-back has put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the Silkmen, who are currently battling against relegation from npower League Two.
A statement on the club's official website read: "The Silkmen are delighted to have secured the signature of the promising centre-back, who has featured in 10 of the club's 11 reserve games this season, and has even attracted serious interest from the Premier League."
