Mackreth makes Macc move

Macclesfield have completed the signing of Barrow winger Jack Mackreth on a one-year deal.

Mackreth scored five times in 45 appearances for the Bluebirds this season and was rewarded with the club's player of the year award. The 20-year-old, who came through the ranks at Tranmere as a youngster before loan spells with Burscough, Colwyn Bay, Cammell Laird and Hyde, is Steve King's first signing as Silkmen boss ahead of next term's Blue Square Bet Premier campaign.
