£10m Samba swoop mooted

Manchester City are being linked with a £10million swoop for Benfica star Ramires and Robinho hopes a deal will happen.

Brazilian star Ramires is impressing in Portugal after he joined Benfica from Cruzeiro in the summer and City boss Mark Hughes is being linked with a move for the 22-year-old.
Robinho speaks very highly of his fellow countryman and is urging Hughes to pursue his interest and make a bid.
"Ramires is a great player, a youngster who has been playing for Brazil and that says a lot about his quality," Robinho revealed. "He'll go far, he'll be a superstar and his talent is not only recognised in Brazil.
"They should sign him. The manager decides whether City need a player like him but good players are always needed and Ramires has got tremendous potential."
