Roberto Mancini has signed Austrian starlet Sinan Bytyqi while Hungarian twins Gergely and David Bobal have been handed trials.
The Manchester City chief is looking to the future to ensure the side remain in the hunt for success even beyond his tenure at the Etihad Stadium and remove the stigma that the club are just intent on splashing out millions to buy glory. And, Mancini sanctioned a swoop for 17-year-old Austrian youth international striker, Bytyqi, who is currently with Admira Wacker in his homeland after he impressed the club scouts. "In the foreseeable future we had looked to integrate him in our side, and getting your own players in your side is always admirable," Wacker's general manager Alex Friedl said. "Of course there is mixed feelings about such a great player but we have made this decision in the interest of the development of the player who expressed his desire to meet with Manchester City and he found a satisfactory solution." City are also taking a look at 16-year-old Bobal twins Gergely and David, who arrived for trials on Monday from Honved in Budapest. "We caught their eye in the Under-17 European qualifiers about three weeks ago," Gergely told Nemzeti Sport. "We'll stay (in England) until Saturday and I will try to show my abilities with David. "This was a sign for me that one shouldn't jump the steps as a footballer but you have to go further step by step. "If I'm not successful with this trial I won't be unhappy but it was a chance you must take and try yourself."
