Barry hit by injury blow
Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry fears he could miss Euro 2012 after picking up a groin injury against Norway.
Barry came on at the start of the second in Oslo but lasted just 28 minutes after picking up a groin problem and the midfielder now fears for his place in Poland and Ukraine. When quizzed after the game, Barry revealed he could not say whether the injury would be serious enough to keep him out of the tournament and he will be praying there is no serious damage. Boss Roy Hodgson is also concerned about the injury but says they will not know the full extent of the damage until the player has undergone a scan on the injury. "I'm not prepared to say it is serious but it demands our attention," he said. "There is not a lot of time if the scan shows more than a minor problem."
