Manchester City must perform well in the Champions League next season to prove they are a world force, according to Sergio Aguero.

The 23-year-old Argentina international striker scored the goal which secured City a last-gasp 3-2 win against QPR and handed the club their first Premier League title in the final seconds of last season at the Etihad Stadium.
And, having handed the club a first league title in 44 years, Aguero is already looking forward to tasting further success with Roberto Mancini's men in the future.
But, the former Atletico Madrid hitman feels a good run in the Champions League is the only way City can show the rest of Europe and world football that they should be considered as a powerful club.
"That was the first league title I have won in my career - now I want to win more," Aguero told The Times.
"It is important for the club that we do well in the Champions League next season. That is crucial if we are to show we are a power on the world stage.
"I just want to keep winning next season."
