City favourites to sign Sanchez
Manchester City are leading the race to sign much-coveted playmaker Alexis Sanchez, according to Udinese boss Gianpaolo Pozzo.
The Citizens enjoyed their first full season under boss Roberto Mancini last time out, securing the FA Cup as well as their first Champions League place with a third place finish.
However, City will be desperate to sustain a challenge for the Premier League title and are leading the race to land their first major signing of the summer.
Barcelona had been thought to have leapt ahead of City to sign the highly-rated 22-year-old Sanchez, but with a valuation of £44m put on his head, punters looking to use their free bet will have taken note that Pozzo believes it is the Premier League club who stand the best chance of getting their man.
Pozzo said: "If he was to leave, I would say that City have the highest probability of success."
Sanchez will be in action at the upcoming Copa America with Chile, lining up in Group C alongside Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.
