Roberto Mancini says Carlos Tevez's future is on hold until the end of the season but has hinted he could stay with Manchester City.
Tevez looked certain to be heading for the exit door following the now infamous bust up with Mancini during the Champions League clash with Bayern Munich, but there is a chance he could stay. The striker has apologised and is now back in favour and it looks as though Mancini could be ready to forgive and forget although he says all talks will be left until the end of the season. "He has a contract," Mancini said of the situation. "But at the moment it is not important to talk about the future. Carlos is not 100 percent right now because it is impossible for him to be that after missing six months." Tevez has scored four goals in three games since returning to the City fold and Mancini hopes that can continue against Manchester United on Monday evening. "It was a strange situation six months out," Mancini added. "He's probably done better than I expected but I hope in the next three games he can continue to do this."
