City snubbed in striker move
Manchester City,

Didier Drogba is set to snub an £18million move to Manchester City by extending his current deal with Chelsea.
City tried to land the Ivory Coast international in January but were knocked back by the Blues, despite Drogba's apparent ambition to leave the club at the time. The temperamental striker has now reportedly changed his mine about leaving Stamford Bridge and is currently in talks with new manager Carlo Ancelotti about what the future holds. Mark Hughes' side are reportedly still interested in Drogba, but a source close to the striker says he doesn't expect him to leave Stamford Bridge this summer. "City have never lost interest in Drogba but the vibes coming from the player are that he has settled down again and wants to stay," the source told The Sun. "Chelsea can offer him Champions League football, which City can't, and for an older player that's important."
