City target keen for Rome stay
The agent of Italian midfielder Simone Perrotta says his client wants to stay at Roma despite talk that Man City are keen to sign him.
The World Cup winner has just one year left on his contract with the Serie A club and is understood to be on Mark Hughes' long list of potential targets this summer.
But despite being born in Manchester, it appears a move to England doesn't appeal to Perrota with his agent insisting he would be happy to commit to the Rome giants.
Speaking to romannews.eu, Giuseppe Bozzo stated: "The intentions of Simone have always been the same, to stay as long as possible in Rome.
"Now, we expect something to happen soon."
