Edin Dzeko has ruled out a possible summer move to Juventus by pledging his future to Manchester City.
The 26-year-old Bosnia international striker failed to secure a regular starting place in City boss Roberto Mancini's plans, but still managed to score 14 goals in the club's memorable Premier League title winning campaign.
And, with Sergio Aguero, Mario Balotelli and Carlos Tevez all ahead of him in the pecking order and set to still be at the Etihad Stadium for the start of next season in August, Dzeko's chances of regular action continues to look slim.
But Dzeko, who scored in City's remarkable come-from-behind last-gasp 3-2 win against QPR on the final day of the season which clinched the title, is adamant that he will fight for his place in the team.
"No it's not worrying me because I think I've shown that I can play at Man City and that I deserve to play. I've scored some very important goals," he said.
"I'm still at Manchester City. For Man City I'm not thinking about my future. I'm just thinking about the games against Ireland and Mexico.
"The coach decides who plays and I respect that. I always tried to do my best all season, even when I didn't play.
"At the end I scored a goal, maybe one of the most important goals in City's history, and I'm so proud of that."
