Samir Nasri has told former club Arsenal to celebrate a third-placed finish and he 'will focus on winning titles' at Manchester City.
The France international midfielder, who is preparing for his country's Euro 2012 Group D opener against England in Donetsk on Monday evening, was criticised for leaving the Gunners for City last summer. Arsenal fans claimed Nasri's move to the Etihad Stadium was motivated by financial gain, but the player has hit out against the Londoners after City lifted the Premier League championship trophy, while Arsene Wenger's men had to settle for third spot in another trophy-less campaign. "Celebrate your third-place achievement and I will focus on winning titles," Nasri is quoted as saying by The Daily Mail. "I'm glad I left because City are far more competitive and are winning titles, not dreaming about it. "I have said 300 times I did not leave Arsenal for money, only for sporting aspirations and if people don't believe me that's their problem."
