Hughes cool under pressure
Boss Mark Hughes says he will take Man City's mega-money takeover in his stride because there is always pressure in football.
The Eastlands chief has guided the Blues into the first round of the UEFA Cup and they face AC Omonia of Cyprus away on Thursday night.
Adu Dhabi United Group's acquisition of 90% of Thaksin Shinawatra's shareholding is set to be completed this week but Hughes is not overawed by the challenges ahead.
"The pressure is always there, irrespective of the resources you have," said Hughes.
"You are expected to win and show progress. So that is what I have to do at City.
"We want to make an impression in the UEFA Cup as we feel European football will help us develop as a team. It is a big part of what we want to do."
