Jo attracting interest from capital

Manchester City, 12:30, June 17, 2009 ,

Fulham are being linked with an £8m swoop on Manchester City for Brazil international striker Jo this summer.

The 22-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Premier League rivals Everton after failing to make an impact at Eastlands after arriving for £18m from CSKA Moscow last summer.
And now the Cottagers are reported to be ready to launch a bid for the striker, which would represent a whopping £10m loss for City, as they look to strengthen for the forthcoming Europa League campaign.
Goodison Park chief David Moyes has already claimed he cannot afford to buy Jo but should Fulham have a bid accepted then he might move for the cut-price player.

As soon as City offload players or add to their squad this summer we'll let you know on our SMS mobile alert service.
