Jose Mourinho is being linked with a move to Manchester City as the pressure starts to mount on boss Mark Hughes.
The club's billionaire owners are growing increasingly frustrated after watching City draw with Hull on Saturday and a change could be in the pipeline unless things pick up quickly.
City have been drawing far too many games this season despite Hughes spending £200m on new players and reports in the press suggest chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak and owner Sheikh Mansour are weighing up a change.
Mourinho would be top of their wanted list and the former Chelsea boss would be up for the switch after admitting he is unsettled with Inter Milan and would like to return to the Premier League.
Guus Hiddink and Roberto Mancini have also been linked should Hughes get the chop but Mourinho will be hot favourite for the job if a change is made.
