Micah Richards could be heading out of Manchester City in January with Aston Villa and Sunderland both eyeing his signature.
City are likely to let the full-back go for a fee in the region of £10 million - a figure that is far cry from the kind of numbers bandied around when he first burst onto the scene at Eastlands.
Villa and Sunderland are known to have had a long standing interest in the England international who now feels a change of club is what he needs to get his career back on track.
The 21-year-old has recently lost his place in the City team in the wake of their 4-3 defeat to Manchester United last month with Mark Hughes preferring Pablo Zabaleta.
Richards will get a chance for a recall against Wigan next Sunday because of a hamstring injury to Zabaleta but it may only be a short term reprieve.
