Serie A interest in Elano

Inter Milan have been linked with an £8m bid to sign Manchester City midfielder Elano this summer.
The 27-year-old has previously warned he will leave Eastlands if a new deal is not forthcoming this summer, as the Brazilian wants to concentrate fully on the 2010 World Cup in South Africa next season.
Elano took his time to convince Blues boss Mark Hughes of his ability but the chance to recoup their outlay on the player, who was signed from Shaktar Donetsk two years ago, might be too good for City to turn down.
Hughes has elected to play Elano on the left wing but the availability of Martin Petrov after a long-term knee injury would cover his loss.
