Toure linked with Turkish switch

Turkish outfit Galatasaray have been linked with a swoop for Manchester City defender Kolo Toure.

Toure has found himself behind Joleon Lescott and Vincent Kompany in the City pecking order, while new recruit Matija Nastasic has added to the competition for places at centre-half at the Etihad Stadium.
The Ivorian defender has entered the final year of his contract with City and reports suggest boss Roberto Mancini will sanction a sale as long as Galatasaray make an offer in the region of £3million.
The Turkish transfer window is open until midnight on Wednesday, meaning Galatasaray still have time to make their move despite the fact the Premier League transfer window has closed.
