Agent downplays Vidic exit rumours

Nemanja Vidic's agent Silvano Martina has rejected reports the defender could depart Manchester United for Juventus in the summer.

Vidic is currently sidelined with a serious knee injury but that has not prevented speculation that he could be heading for Serie A in the summer. However, Martina insists he has never spoken to anyone at Juventus and rejected the rumours regarding the Serbian defender. "Vidic is still out with a cruciate ligament injury," Martina told tuttomercatoweb.com. "A future in Italy? You have to consider that he has a non-EU passport and that would make it difficult for him to arrive in Serie A. "I can assure you that I have never spoken with Juventus about Nemanja."
