Manchester United are reported to be showing an interest in Torino centre-back Angelo Ogbonna, while Everton are also keen.
The 24-year-old has impressed with Torino over the past couple of seasons and after helping them back into Serie A, clubs throughout Europe are starting to show an interest.
The Italian international has a contract until 2016 and it would take a fee in the region of £16million to convince Torino to cash in on the defender, who can also play at left-back.
United and Everton scouts are expected to watch the player in action today when Torino take on Inter Milan and a January offer could be in the pipeline if he continues to shine.
Ogbonna, who has Nigerian parents but was born in Italy, stands at 6ft 2in and has all the attributes to make it in the Premier League, something that has not gone unnoticed by Sir Alex Ferguson and David Moyes.
