Brazil international Lucas Moura admits he expects to join Paris Saint-Germain in January, despite interest from Manchester United.
United held talks with Moura's club Sao Paulo but were unable to agree terms with the Brazilian outfit and it now seems as if PSG are set to seal a deal for the midfielder in January. The 19-year-old, who is currently representing Brazil at the Olympics in London, has admitted he has held discussions with PSG and it appears as if United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will have to look elsewhere if he is to strengthen his midfield before the transfer window closes. He told Globo Esporte: "No doubt that would be better because I can help Sao Paulo a bit more. I have always said I want to win a title before leaving and qualify for the Libertadores Cup. "If it happens in January, I'll be able to do that for Sao Paulo. "I'm focused on the national team. I can only say something after the Olympics. It's well underway, but not done. "I talked to (PSG defender and Brazil international) Thiago Silva and (PSG Sporting director) Leonardo, they said many good things about the club, the project they are implementing there."
