Daz - I can be automatic

Manchester United, 15:58, December 10, 2009 ,

Darron Gibson has vowed to take the chance he's got to establish himself as a Man Utd first-team regular amid the injury crisis.

The 22-year-old had not been in the first team for two months prior to his current five-match run.
And, after grabbing two goals against Tottenham and another at West Ham last week, he does not intend to relinquish his grip on a first-team place.
"Manchester United is the best club in the world," said Gibson
"When you leave here there is only one way to go and that is down.
"As everyone knows, it is very difficult to make it at United but if you do it, you reap the rewards.
"The gaffer is famous for giving chances to young lads. If you take your chance he sticks with you, so hopefully I will keep getting a few more games."
With Darren Fletcher returning to right-back and Michael Carrick confirmed at centre-back this weekend, Gibson, Anderson and Paul Scholes appear to be battling for two central midfield berths against Aston Villa on Saturday.
