Sir Alex Ferguson says he will fully utilise his Manchester United squad and is confident of keeping everyone happy.
Ferguson has ruled out any further signings ahead of the transfer deadline after wrapping up deals for Robin Van Persie and Alexander Buttner in the last week. The Reds boss is happy with the strength in depth in his ranks and particularly the options he has in attack with Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez battling with Van Persie for the striking roles. All four will be unable to play at once, but Ferguson says they will all be needed as they push for glory domestically and also in Europe. "You can't win anything in this league without a squad, there is no doubt about that. You need a full squad,"Ferguson revealed. "At the moment I think we have maybe 27 or 28 players, but given that four defenders immediately were unavailable for the other night, it tells you what a competitive league it is in terms of the number of games and injuries you can pick up. "We have a strong squad, we are going to use it and there will be opportunities for all the players to share in that and contribute to whatever we achieve this season."
