Javier Hernandez is set to get the nod to replace Danny Welbeck for Manchester United's clash with Swansea at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Mexico international striker has dropped behind England international striker, Welbeck, in the pecking order this season despite his impressive debut campaign in the Premier League last term. However, Hernandez will almost certainly get an opportunity to try and score the goals which will keep United in the race to win the Premier League title after Welbeck was ruled out having suffered an injury following a challenge on him by Manchester City's Nigel De Jong in Monday's 1-0 derby defeat. It was also confirmed on Thursday that Jonny Evans will miss out again due to the injury he picked up in training before the Etihad Stadium showdown at the start of this week. Sir Alex Ferguson is unlikely to deviate too far away from the side which started at City, but with United needing a win to keep the pressure on their neighbours, Antonio Valencia could also return to the line-up.
