Giggs excited by United youth

Manchester United, 18:41, July 19, 2010 ,

Manchester United veteran Ryan Giggs believes the side's young stars could prove the difference in the title race.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has a fantastic reputation for nurturing talented youngsters and Giggs feels the latest crop of starlets could help the Old Trafford side emerge victorious at the end of the Premier League 2010/2011 campaign.
"Last season we saw a lot of the young players featuring in the first team," said the Welsh midfielder. "Nani had a good season, Antonio (Valencia) had a fantastic debut campaign, (Federico) Kiko Macheda had a frustrating season with injuries and now Chris Smalling has come into the squad.
"Hopefully their determination and hunger will see them kick on this season and do even better, because we're going to need them."
Punters may wish to back United to reclaim the Premier League crown this season with their free bet after Giggs' bold statement.
