Manchester United have been issued with a come-and-get-me plea from Montpellier captain Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa.
The highly-rated 22-year-old Montpellier defender is thought to be available for around £7million and is attracting plenty of interest from clubs around Europe after helping guide his side to within touching distance of the French Ligue 1 title this season.
Yanga-Mbiwa will be out of contract in summer 2013 and Montpellier might look to offload him in the upcoming transfer window to ensure they get a sizeable fee for his services.
And, while the youngster admitted at the end of last year that a move to England would interest him because the physical nature of the Premier League 'suits my style of play' and he has even started learning the language. However, it now seems a move to join Sir Alex Ferguson's Red Devils is his ideal destination with Arsenal also a possibility.
"Playing for Manchester United would give great satisfaction and it would mean a dream could become a reality," he told Canal Plus. "Arsenal too are a big team."
