Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has insisted he is in no rush wrap up a deal for veteran midfielder Paul Scholes.

The former England international was unable to guide the defending Premier League champions to victory against Everton on Sunday, as they were held to a 4-4 draw in a thrilling encounter at Old Trafford. However, the 37-year-old has been an influential figure in the Red Devils' squad this season since returning from retirement earlier this season. United, who can be backed using your free bet, have not lost a Premier League game whilst Scholes has been on the field but Ferguson is in no rush to secure the playmaker on another deal at the Theatre of Dreams. The Scot said: "I'm not going to ask him until the end of the season. I don't want to put anything in his mind. "He is rejuvenated through feeling relief at playing again at the level he is, rather than coaching the young boys. His form is probably better than last season because, when he made the decision to retire, that would have been at the back of his mind."
