The agent of James Rodriguez claims he will hold future talks with Porto after Manchester United were linked with a bid for him.

The 20-year-old Colombian international winger has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for some time as boss Sir Alex Ferguson's scouts are lining up a potential replacement for Nani whose future remains uncertain as he has yet to agree a new deal to stay at United. As we reported earlier in the week, Rodriguez, who scored 13 goals in 20 games for the Portuguese champions last season, has expressed a desire to join the Red Devils. And, his agent Silvio Sandri has now confirmed that the player will discuss his next step with Porto as reports in Portugal are suggesting United will have to fork out a massive £40million to buy him out of his contract that runs until 2016. He said: "Really there does not exist any big news about this, but it is a subject we need to analyse. "In a couple of weeks I will fly to Portugal and I expect to have a meeting with the Porto directors to discuss the situation. I cannot offer more details because it is a very complex subject."
