Roma have joined Manchester United as huge admirers of Brazilian teenager Adryan, but he says he wants to stay close to home for now.
Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport are reporting that Roma are keen on Flamengo's 17-year-old midfielder who United identified as a potential world star of the future at last year's Fifa Under-17 World Cup. Adryan, who only last week disclosed that he turned down an offer from Old Trafford, was voted Brazil's player of the tournament at last month's Copa del Mediterraneo. United did not have a scout at that tournament in Spain but Roma have stepped up their interest in the teenager since he led Brazil to the semi-finals. Roma signed ex-Corinthians full-back Dodo earlier this season, almost two years after United were linked to him, and are looking increasingly to Brazil for teenage talent.
