Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is targeting his best ever goals return in a season after hammering three past Portsmouth.
The United hitman scored a hat-trick against the league's bottom club on Saturday and believes this season could be his highest scoring Premier League campaign so far."Taking penalties my tally should be a lot higher," Rooney told the club's official website. "Thankfully, I've scored two of them today. It's a great feeling to score a hat-trick, an amazing feeling."
