Scholes on role change

Manchester United, 13:45, September 4, 2010 , | 3 Comments

Paul Scholes says he accepts his role as a bit-part player after revealing he felt his Man Utd days were over last Christmas.

The former England international has been the subject of interest from England over a Three Lions comeback and while that is not on the cards, Scholes is taking every game as it comes.
He told MUTV: "At Christmas last season I did not think I would be playing in this one.
"I wasn't playing well enough."
On his chances this season, Scholes added: "If I am playing well enough, maybe I will play 25 or 30 games.
"You want to play every game but at our age, you can't."

Scholes is underrated, do you see any other players being begged to come out of international retirement?
