Scholes on Utd comeback
Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has no regrets over his decision to come out of retirement in January.
Scholes retired at the end of last season and took on a coaching role at Old Trafford but decided to return in January, with United suffering a mini-crisis in midfield in terms of injuries at the time.
The 37-year-old has made 15 appearances for United since his return, including nine starts, and Scholes insists he made the right decision by returning to the pitch.
"The coaching was okay but it wasn't anything like playing," Scholes told MUTV.
"I was still coming in every day and seeing players. It was difficult to adjust, I admit that.
"I really missed the playing side up until Christmas, when I went to see the manager."
Scholes is yet to make a decision as to whether or not he will continue playing next season, although it would seem as if he is certainly open to extending his playing career further.
