Star aims to repay faith

Owen Hargreaves cannot wait to return to the Manchester United side and has vowed to repay the faith shown in him.

Hargreaves has had a nightmare on the injury front since arriving at Old Trafford from Bayern Munich but it is hoped his problems are now behind him once and for all.

The midfielder has undergone surgery on both his knees but is now closing in on full fitness and could come into contention for the dead rubbers in the Champions League.

"I just want to be part of it again. I want to be available and healthy," he said. "I can't wait to be involved and play for United again.

"I want a good season to repay the faith shown in me by the fans. It will be an amazing feeling to run out at Old Trafford again. I will be so excited I will probably pass out."
