Inter Milan are reportedly set to make a bid to sign Manchester United target Lucas Moura from Brazilian side Sao Paulo.
United chief Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed his interest in the highly-rated 19-year-old Brazil international midfielder, but the club have been unable to agree a fee with his current club. United are not prepared to match Sao Paulo's asking price with a fee in the region of 40 million euros being mooted for the youngster who is rated as one of the biggest talents in South America. However, while United's initial offer was thought to be around 25 million euros, La Gazzetta dello Sport in Italy is reporting that Inter will make a bid of around 30 million euros to try and tempt Moura to the San Siro. It is not known if Sao Paulo will accept that offer of if the player will want to join Inter over United which is why the Italian giants have also earmarked Bologna's Gaston Ramirez or Catania's Alejandro Gomez as alternative options.
